Went to the chiropractor today! Wow, such a difference! While I can't confirm anything yet, it seems like it may have actually worked on the baby and made him turn! I felt his butt coming out by my belly button today, and all of his movements have been different. My back and pelvis feel SO different! While it could be coincidence, I'm hoping it stays this way!
I'm not sure if nesting just got knocked into me, or if I have a wave of energy from the chiropractor (which happens most times I go.) I've been cleaning up the downstairs all day, crocheting through my last orders I've been slacking on, and even rolled up our big rug and vacuumed underneath it. It made the day go really quickly, and I still have more energy having done everything than I usually do having done nothing.
My eye will not stop twitching though! It's driving me nuts. I have no idea why it's doing it, but it's definitely refusing to stop.
Back to the chiropractor, he was quite worried about working with me today! The face he made when I said I was 8 days away from my due date was just one of terror! When he finished carefully and cautiously cracking me, he admitted that he was afraid I was going to burst my water right there. His fear though was my hope! I wouldn't have minded going into labor right there, as it's roughly five minutes away from the birth center - I could have gone and got checked for my water broken, received information, and went home to labor for a while. Instead, I spent the day cleaning and doing what I should have been doing all of last week.
I'm currently 24 minutes away from turning 39 weeks! I can't believe I'm here, but at the same time I can't believe I'm not overdue already because it so feels like it!
