31 weeks

Once again I've been too busy/tired on a Thursday to post about the new week! But can you believe it...I'm 31 weeks now! And I'm looking every day of that. My belly went from being the same size every week and in fact looking like it had shrunk a lot from the weeks before, to now being full out and about! Yep, little baby flipped again, his head is now down and his body is always against the surface of my skin (and of course, in my ribs because that's his favorite hang out place!)

He's a wiggly mover in there and he really hates the BH I get. I'm definitely getting them stronger, earlier and more often than with Katie. This time when they happen, I can REALLY feel them. Lately when I feel them I tend to just grab onto a wall or solid piece of furniture and just wait for it to ride itself out. You'd think this would be enough of a reminder to read the damn hypno book, but nope. Somehow I have such a busy agenda every day and each day I say "well today is super busy, but I'll absolutely make it a priority tomorrow." But that tomorrow, that's full of reading this book as #1, never comes. I'm going to regret this terribly later if I don't get a move on it soon, as it takes weeks of practice. The longer it's practiced for, the better it's done.

(update: I started writing this on Friday - it's now Sunday night and I have read half the book now!)

I've been splitting my time trying to get the house ready for baby (we just emptied the basement and brought up lots of baby stuff, now we're trying to organize everything) and crocheting my fingers off. I am SO close to making my second goal in my store of hitting that $1,000 mark, and I have about six requests on order that will easily let me surpass that goal by the end of the month. While the orders are starting to slow down (thankfully, as I'm nearing my cut off), I'm still getting at least one a week. I'm hoping to keep requests open for as long as possible, but I'm also going to need time before baby comes to not have to worry about it anymore. I have so much I want to save up for though, it's hard to refuse money! Especially because I'm currently playing with the idea to save up money to have a maid service come once or twice right before Bill goes back to work so I'm not "going back to work" on my own with a house that's really behind and messy, as I can imagine Katie and I will be keeping Bill busy enough for him to not be able to keep up on the housework well enough. If only I could order a chef as well! Bill's specialties are BBQ grilled chicken and steak - beyond that, he's woefully out of practice and managed to even turn boxed Mac and Cheese into shapeless, loose mush the other week, and I'm not a big fan of PB&J. Hmm, maybe I should start freezing meals!

I still haven't taken my belly pic of 31 weeks! I totally forgot until tonight, and I'm just too exhausted to go all the way upstairs, change, take pics and change again. Hopefully tomorrow I can catch a moment to do it!

Oh, and I remembered something else from my last baby appointment that gives me some hope - they're planning on trying to get the foly bulb induction to be allowed at the birth center, since there's nothing pharmaceutical about it to warrent a hospital only ordeal. Since my body took to it so well last time and I never needed anything else (and when Tammy checked me, she said I could transfer to the birth center since I was doing so well - problem was, she only checked me when I was already entering transition and my tailbone was already breaking, so I wasn't going anywhere!) I'd love to have that option with future pregnancies if I need to try induction again. I'm hoping when I follow up with it again, that they'll tell me that it was granted.

Just 60 days to go! (actually, it's already after 10 PM, so it's almost 59!)
