It's been almost two weeks since my last post. I've been SO busy! I started up my hat business again, where I'm hoping to make one big hat project each week (I'm going for more elaborate designs this year). Will keeps me up and moving at all times, and when he finally naps, it's Katie's turn to keep me running!
Will got his doctor appointment last week and he is now off the charts in both weight and height! He's doing great health wise. He got his Hep B and his DtaP, which he didn't cry at all for and took them both really well. Later that day he had a rough time and was really sore, but he recovered quickly after that. As of March 11th, he was 16 lbs, 8oz and 25.5 inches tall!
He's such a happy little baby right now! He loves to chatter, he has such an adorable rolling giggle, and he adores his big sister. He's so interactive! He's now interested in toys, he loves to hold things in his hands and chew on things. I'm wondering if he's starting to teethe, as he now chews on me, his fists, and his toys all the time plus being extra drooly.
We got him an activity mat today! I never got Katie one because she used to use the swing and bouncer mobiles instead, but he hates swings and bouncers. But both of the kids love it. I got him a King Size activity mat (I know, I had no idea they had them either! But it's good, because I was looking at normal sized ones and thinking he wouldn't fit. Just like how I need to find a bigger baby tub for him, because he's now squished shoulder to shoulder in his current one. Katie used that until she was a year old!!) because Katie and the baby both fit in there. Katie loves it just as much as he does!
Will is starting to sit up on his own. When I try to prop him up on the sofa, he leans himself forward until he's unsupported and tries to stay that way as long as possible. He's doing really well! It took Katie until she was 5-6 months to sit up independently, so I have no idea what this little guy is up to already!
